ITV Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu comments on relationship with Davide Sanclimenti as he appears to celebrate in Manchester

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has been busy since being crowned the winner of Love Island 2022. But it means she hasn't been able to spend much time with her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti after finding love, and bagging the win, on the ITV2 dating show.

The couple haven't been seen together for weeks after the Italian business owner pulled out all the stops for his new girlfriend's birthday towards the end of last month. Taking to Instagram at the time, Davide showed the moment he surprised Ekin-Su when they got back to their hotel room in London.

He'd had the luxurious room filled with balloons, gifts, photographs of the couple and huge light signs that spelled out 'Ekin-Su'. There were also two huge cakes waiting on the table and the birthday girl was later seen sat on a yellow beanbag, familiar to fans of Love Island, surrounded by plenty of Selfridges and Jo Malone bags containing gifts that Davide had bought for his beau.

But since then the pair have gone their separate ways as Davide returned to Manchester and Ekin-Su jetted to Los Angeles to shoot for OhPolly after signing a lucrative deal to become the face of the brand. She revealed the news earlier this week after wrapping up her trip to California.

"EKIN-SU X OH POLLY IS OFFICIAL!!" she penned alongside a promotional video and gorgeous snaps from her work out in LA. "This is the news I’ve been waiting to tell you all… I am beyond excited to announce that I am now the face of @ohpolly. I honestly can’t believe this is happening - it is a complete dream come true for me!

"I have always loved the quality & fit of @ohpolly as you will all have seen during my time on Love Island. We have so many amazing things in the pipeline and I cannot wait for you guys to see what we have been working on."

But since returning home from the States, her feet once again haven't touched the ground and on Friday night (September 2), the 28-year-old appeared on Irish TV show The Late Late Show where she was quizzed on life since leaving the famous Spanish villa and her relationship with Davide.

She told host Ryan Tubridy how ‘crazy’ everything has been since she and her man won the show with more than 60 per cent of the final vote and bagged that £50k prize. "It’s just been a whirlwind," she admitted. "I mean, it’s been so busy. Non-stop. I’ve literally been like been in LA, been back in Essex, been in London, now here. I just have not had time for myself."

Ekin continued: "Or my man really. It’s been absolutely crazy but just so surreal, and I’m so grateful for everything." When asked how Davide is, she replied: "He’s fine, he’s absolutely fine. He’s in Manchester with is friends, and he’s busy right now."

And it appears he too could be celebrating landing a big deal. On Friday he shared a video of himself making a 'cheers' with shots while tagging the location as boohooMan's HQ. The 27-year-old, from Rome, is reportedly lining up a deal with the online clothing brand and was spotted arriving at the offices.

He later hit the town, filming himself enjoying rooftop drinks in the city centre where he was joined by fellow Love Island finalist Dami Hope who later filmed Davide donning his shades and a baggy white shirt with the Manchester skyline visible in the background.
