ITV Love Island fans 'work out' why Casa Amor was 'cut short' as they make the same joke

The end of Casa Amor is in sight as Laura Whitmore made her entrance into the Love Island villa. Fans of the ITV2 dating show were up in arms as Wednesday night's show (July 6) ended with the hosts' entrance after the Islanders were told there would be a recoupling.

With no preview of what's to come on Thursday night, viewers were left predicting who will remain loyal to their partners - and who will bring a new partner into the mix. As those tuning in to the popular programme know, the original islanders have been split for the last few days and the next episode will see them forced to choose between staying faithful to their original partner or dumping them for one of the bombshells, in a surprise recoupling dubbed Stick or Twist.

Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri are the only pair who have remained coupled up throughout the series despite questions over Tasha’s true feelings towards Andrew. And despite enjoying kissing and cuddling with newcomer Coco Lodge in an effort to get over Tasha, Andrew broke down in tears thinking about Tasha while on the terrace with Jacques O’Neill.

In the emotional scene, Andrew said: “I haven’t cried over a girl in years. I literally opened up to her, my fears were being with someone and not being enough, she listened to that.” Jacques said: “Anyone would be lucky to have you because you’re such a respectful guy, you treat girls right.”

Andrew retorted: “Its not enough for the girl I wanted." But while he's been getting cosy with Coco, Tasha has enjoyed a few kisses with new arrival Billy Brown. She told the beach hut: "Casa is all about exploring connections and with Billy there is an extra bit of flirty, happy vibes. I am here to explore that, selfishly I am here for me, it is my own personal journey."

Meanwhile, Paige Thorne appeared delighted at the new she would soon be reuniting with Jacques, saying: "I am one of those people that is a glass half full. I am actually really excited to go back just so I can see Jacques again."

However, she may be left heartbroken as while they were apart, rugby player Jacques has kissed newcomer Cheyanne Kerr and suggested that he may recouple with her after telling the boys he needed to get to know the new girls to know if what he has with paramedic Paige 'is real'.

But Love Island fans couldn't help but wonder if Casa Amor has been cut short this year, and joked about the reasons why. Former Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jnr said: "I think they’ve brought forward the recoupling cause if they didn’t there wouldn’t be enough beds in the main villa next week #LoveIsland."

@adoringxniaII tweeted: "Producers are RUNNING to ikea to buy enough beds for the recoupling #LoveIsland." @DonSnow22 said: "They sent Laura rapidly in for emergency action because if Casa Amor kept going they’d need 14 beds in the villa #LoveIsland." @hol2211 wrote: "This year the producers thought F**K we can’t send a postcard because this is the highest amount of action ever to have happened while the couples are split up to casa amore, there’s gonna be no beds left when they all re couple lol #LoveIsland."

@user193882929 echoed: "Love island def didn’t do the postcard for the reason that they don’t have enough beds #loveisland." @Isabbardi commented: "They must have cut Casa Amor short because they know they don’t have enough beds to accommodate everyone in the main villa #Loveisland."
