Paramedic Paige Thorne had Love Island fans doing a double take as she strutted into the famous villa for Monday night's launch episode. Paige, who hails from Swansea, Wales, is one of the Islanders hoping to find love in the sun on the eighth series of the ITV2 dating show.
Paige, who describes herself as 'positive and bubbly' but also 'quite mumsy' as well as being a good cook, said in her introduction that she was previously engaged for 'three or four months.'
"How do you say no?" she asked. And she added: "The ring was cute though." Describing her ideal man she said she likes a 'dad bod' and facial hair. "Facial hair is a requirement. It's not a want it's a need," she said.

Speaking about why she's joined the show she said previously: "In Swansea there is just no-one I can find. I’ve tried and there’s just nobody there anymore.
"I need to break out and broaden my horizons and Love Island just brings everyone together for me. I haven't got to go out and I haven’t got to swipe. So, hopefully they can just come to me now!"
And Love Island viewers were distracted as they pointed out that she has a celebrity look-alike. They reckon that stunning Paige looks like Welsh singer Lisa Scott-Lee from iconic pop group Steps.
