ITV Love Island fans say they'll 'lose it' as they spot history repeating with Will and Jessie

Love Island fans think they have spotted history repeating itself as Will Young shocked viewers by kissing new girl Layla Al-Momani. Casa Amor is well and truly underway on the ITV2 dating show with the girls sent off to a secondary villa in South Africa while the boys stay at the main villa.

The girls were quickly joined by six new male bombshell contestants - Frankie Davey, 22, Kain Reed, 21, Ryan Weekley, 22, Maxwell Samuda, 23, Bayley Mummery, 25 and Martin Akinola, 27. Meanwhile, the boys had to wait until the following morning when they were joined in the main villa by Layla, Sammy James, Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, Lydia Karakyriakou, Sanam Harrinanan and Lynda Flix just as the boys were speaking about how they were lonely without the girls present.

And farmer and TikTok star Will wasted no time in getting to know bombshell Layla despite having been coupled up with Jessie Wynter for more than two weeks. After admitting to 28-year-old brand managing director Layla: "You could turn my head," Layla said: "You make me a little bit nervous."

Later in the evening, the pair grew closer on the villa’s balcony as Will, 23, said: "I think you do bring out a cheeky side in me… I feel like I gravitate towards you a bit,” to which Layla agreed. Will then asked: "Shall we have a little kiss now?" after which the pair agreed to share a bed.

Unaware of Will’s antics in the main villa, 26-year-old personal trainer and influencer Jessie confided in bombshell Frankie Davey in the other villa. Jessie said: "Will and I have been going really well and we haven’t had any hiccups or anything." She later added: “I feel like he’s given me no reason not to trust him.”

Back in the main villa, Casey O’Gorman asked Will how he felt following his kiss with Layla, after which Will admitted he felt "a little bit guilty". Recruitment consultant Casey, 26, who had previously shared a kiss with Sanam Harrinanan and later agreed to share a bed with Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, asked: "Do you regret it?"

To which Will said: "Yes and no. The way it’s made me feel, I think it just reiterates how much I like Jessie." Speaking in the beach hut, Will added: “I feel like a bit of a dog that’s been let off its leash." He also added: "I feel like I f****d up big time!"

And Love Island viewers were left fuming at Will's decision to kiss Layla and think they can see history repeating itself with scenes reminiscent of 2021 islanders Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who went on to win the series, after Liam returned from Casa Amor alone to recouple with her - only for his disloyalty to soon be revealed.

In a shock twist just moments after they were reunited, Casa Amor's Lillie Haynes appeared at the fire pit and explained she'd shared kisses outside of challenges and a bed with the hunk during the 'lads holiday'.

@miaisswaggy tweeted: "Swear if all they all do a millie and liam i’m gonna lose my head #loveIsland." @emswilkinson predicted: "I can see a Millie and Liam situation approaching for Will and Jessie #loveIsland." @fentyheat said: "Will and Jessie pulling a Millie and Liam. Pls don’t let them win. #loveisland."

@itsjustemzie posted: "Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Will sticks with Jessie and we’ll have another Millie and Liam situation where Lillie revealed all at the recoupling #LoveIsland." @FrancescaShayla echoed: "This will be a repeat of Millie and Liam, Will will stick with Jesse and she will come back all happy and then the truth will come out #loveisland." @thandiiex added: "This is Liam and Millie all over Will is gonna do a madness only to stay with Jessie #loveisland."

Others also think a situation similar to that of 2022 Love Island finalists Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri which saw Andrew get up close and personal with Coco Lodge before having to come clean to dancer Tasha. @SweetLikeAli tweeted: "Will and Layla reminds me exactly of Andrew and Coco last year #loveIsland."

@productignition said: "This is literally Andrew and Coco 2.0 even the same personalities #loveisland." @eds_afterglow echoed: "Will and Layla gonna be this year’s Andrew and Coco #loveisland #loveislanduk." @lydiaxxxo added: "This is just Andrew and Coco 2.0 #loveisland."
