ITV Love Island fans say show is 'having a laugh' as they point out problem with Casa Amor return

Love Island fans wasted no time in complaining as the latest episode marked the return of Casa Amor. During Sunday night's edition of the ITV2 dating show, the female islanders left the primary villa in their dressing gowns and towels, leaving their current partners behind as they are set to be tempted by the new entrants.

As the girls were preparing for the evening in the main villa, they received a text telling them they are going on an "girly getaway" and to "grab any essentials and please leave the villa immediately" to head to a secondary villa where they were soon joined by six new bombshell contestants.

Frankie Davey, 22, who said he is "confident and ambitious" and has a "cheeky side", and Kain Reed, 21, who thinks he has a "good chance" with Samie Elishi, are among the bombshells who entered in the closing moments of the episode.

The line-up also includes Ryan Weekley, 22, Maxwell Samuda, 23, Bayley Mummery, 25, and Martin Akinola, 27. After they arrived, Samie Elishi, who had to leave the villa in nothing but her towel, said: "We are in trouble."

Back at the villa, Shaq Muhammad discovered they were missing and said: "No, no, no! Boys… the girls are gone." They were then told by text their partners have gone to Casa Amor and they need to pack them a case while they looked at filling their luggage with gym clothes.

The ending of the episode also teased six new female bombshells entering the original villa to tempt the male contestants away from their partners.

But Love Island viewers were not impressed as they had waited from Friday night's tease of Casa Amor's return for Sunday night's episode, to only get a short amount of action from the annual, head-turning twist.

@l0ttiehall tweeted: "I can’t believe they teased us on Friday night, made us wait all weekend, built it up… to give us literally 30 seconds of actual Casa Amor??? We are fed up with you ending things there after waiting since Friday night. Do better ITV2 we deserve it #Loveisland #talkswithash."

But others were more distracted by Samie as she was left without clothes upon her arrival at the second villa. @candles1998 tweeted: "Samie clutching on to her towel the whole casa amor episode. Producers didnt even let her get dressed. I cant #loveisland."

@xixioshun posted: "Samie still being in a towel at casa is sending me. Sis said f**k them clothes were at Casa Amor #loveisland." @LoveIslandAbi shared: "Samie ran down the road to Casa Amor in just her towel and microphone?! LOVE HER #LoveIsland." @ur_so_golden_ added: "Samie ran there in a towel. Miss girl didn’t even put on a robe. I love her #loveIsland."
