ITV Love Island fans convinced final could end in chaos as they predict one Islander could steal £50,000 prize pot

Love Island fans will have to find something else to fill their 9pm slot every night as the hit ITV show will end tonight (Aug 1). Over two months viewers have watched 36 single contestants enter the Majorcan villa looking for love with now just four couples who have made it through to the finale.

In with a chance of being crowned the series eight winners are Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti. The final four was revealed after Paige Thorne and Adam Collard missed out on a spot in the final after being voted the least compatible couple during Sunday night's episode.

In tonight's final the couples will declare their love for one another as they attend the Love Island summer ball. With the girls dressed to the nines and the boys suited and booted, each pair will write vows about their relationship and time in the villa.

At the end of Monday's episode, it is the public's vote who will decide which couple deserve the title of Love Island 2022 winners.

Tasha and Andrew have been coupled up from the start but after Andrew questioned Tasha's loyalty and how sincere her feelings were towards him, the pair's future was in doubt.

Things turned worse for wear during Casa Amor when Andrew's head was turned by bombshell Coco Lodge. Tasha also got closer to new arrival Billy Brown.

Both Andrew and Tasha chose to recouple with the new Islanders during the stick or twist recoupling, but eventually found their way back to one another and have been smitten ever since.

Dami and Indiyah have also had a rocky ride. The pair were originally just friends but after their partners Ikenna Ekwonna and Amber Beckford were voted out of the villa, their feelings towards one another grew.

Dami's head also turned during Casa Amor as he chose to recouple with Summer Botwe, and Indiyah also decided to switch partners and pick Adeniyi. On her return to the main villa, Indiyah delivered the line: "May the best heartbreaker win", but it seemed as though the pair couldn't resist their connection as they recoupled a few days later.

Gemma and Luca have had a few challenges during their time in the villa, as Gemma's ex boyfriend Jacques O'Neill made a shock entrance. Casa Amor boy Billy also came in and ruffled some feathers as Luca accused him of flirting with Gemma.

Despite a few hiccups, Michael Owen's daughter Gemma and the fishmonger from Brighton have remained strong and have earnt their place in the final.

Ekin-Su and Davide have had quite the journey in the villa after they delivered possibly one of the most iconic moments of the series. Ekin entered as a bombshell and quickly hit it off with Davide, but after new arrival Jay Younger entered the villa, the Turkish actress' head quickly turned.

Ekin-Su was caught crawling across the terrace to sneakily chat with and kiss Jay but after Davide found out, the Italian businessman labelled Ekin "a liar and an actress."

Despite the pair getting back together ahead of Casa Amor, Davide shared kisses with two of the girls whilst Ekin was away and it appeared that Ekin also shared a secret moment with Casa Amor boy George.

The pair did however chose to recouple with one another and are reportedly fan favourites to win tonight's final.

But some viewers think that Davide may not have truly moved on from Ekin-Su's secret antics, as during Sunday night's Meet the Parents episode Davide told his mum that Ekin was an "actress."

Some fans have now predicted that if the pair scoop the winner's title, Davide may steal the £50,000 prize pot all for himself if they are given the choice to split or steal.

In true Love Island fashion, the winners are asked to each pick an envelope, with one containing £0 while the other holds the full £50,000.

Whoever has the envelope with the prize money in it is then asked whether they want to split it with their partner and receive £25,000 each, or if they want to keep the £50,000.

@Bibbsxx tweeted: "I genuinely believe if Ekin and Davide win and he gets the money he won’t share it with Ekin."

@diamond_lexisss said: "If Davide and Ekin win and Davide picks the money envelope I’m most positive he will steal the money."

@__mill wrote: "POV Davide and Ekin win. Davide Steals the 50k and says who’s the actress now B***H. His final one liner."

@samueldwilliams also thinks: "It has to be Davide and Ekin Su surely?! I don’t think Davide’s forgotten about Ekin Su’s crawling on the terrace… we’re gonna see a steal from the king."
