ITV Lorraine Kelly nearly swears after Martin Lewis ‘ruins showbiz chat by singing Time Warp’

Martin Lewis is best known for offering advice and money saving tips for ITV viewers.

But today he showed off his playful side when he appeared to sing Time Warp live on air.

Sadly it wasn’t the best timing for his rendition - it happened right in the middle of a showbiz segment on ITV’s Lorraine.

Host Lorraine Kelly had to stop herself from swearing as she tried to fathom out what the noise was in the background during her chat with Ross King.

Ross was giving all the goss from his interview with singer Celine Dion when a baffled Lorraine could be seen gesturing that something was wrong.

She said: “Thanks very much Ross. I could hear wierdy talking in there, it sounded like Martin Lewis talking about supermarkets or something.”

Then from off camera, a voice appeared which sounded just like the Money Saving Expert.

He said, to the rhythm of the Rocky Horror classic: “Leeeet's do my deeeals agaaaaaaain."

An open-mouthed Lorraine had to quickly recover from her surprise to try and move past the random outburst.

She said: “Ok, there’s somebody playing - I was going to say something rude then - somebody being naughty. We shall sort that out and we’ll go onto the royal tour now.”

While Martin Lewis hasn’t yet confirmed whether it was definitely him having an on-the-fly sing, it sounded just like him.

The 47-year-old was certainly in the vicinity - he appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier in the morning to discuss the latest in the Thomas Cook saga.

Lorraine airs weekdays from 8.30am on ITV.
