ITV Lorraine Kelly forced to stop interview after mobile phone starts ringing

Lorraine Kelly was forced to interrupt a live interview outside 10 Downing Street because of a mobile phone.

The 59-year-old presenter was talking to Dr Hilary Jones about the 'Boob Bus' which has been touring the UK to raise awareness for women to check their breasts for signs of cancer.

But during the important chat, Dr Hilary's phone began to ring causing distraction as he fumbled in his suit jacket to mute it.

Lorraine said: "Hilary Jones, is that your phone?

"I hope it is Boris Johnson inviting you in for a cup of tea."

Lorraine laughed off the interruption and carried on, but it did not go unnoticed by fans of the ITV breakfast show.

Taking to Twitter, one, @TheRealLinda said: "Dr! You're on the telly!!"

Another, @p4tch_official said: "Being interviews on live tv and mobile phone goes off [face palm emoji]"

A third, @cb_038 added: "His phone going off FFS"

*Lorraine is on ITV1 weekdays from 8:30am
