Lorraine has been slammed by viewers following an interview with a holidaymaker in Majorca.
Ranvir Singh replaced Lorraine Kelly on the ITV1 show this month while Lorraine is on her annual leave.
She found herself on hot water on Tuesday however when interviewing a British woman stuck in the Balearic Islands.
Gabriella Fernandez was due to fly home to the UK last week, but her friend tested positive for Covid-19 meaning she had to stay and isolate in the Majorca hotel.
As reported by Birmingham Live, she told Ranvir: "It’s just horrendous.
"The amount of tears me and Giorgia have had, like hysterically crying, even to the point where we can’t speak to each other because we don’t want to see each other upset."
"We knew what we were getting ourselves into, we’re not here for sympathy, it’s more just a pre-warning for everyone.
"But it’s going to have a massive impact."
Viewers of the long-running talk show voiced their displeasure at the interview online.
"So people are still losing their jobs and homes in the UK because of Covid yet they talk to some girl who gets stuck in a hotel for 11days because she made the choice to go on holiday during a pandemic!" one watcher fumed.
Others urged the show to "get a grip".
"First world problems," another said.
"Holiday Is a choice not essiential in a global pandemic", another said, saying they had "no sympathy" for the pair of holidaymakers.
