Andi Peters has delighted viewers with his debut on popular daytime show Lorraine this morning - but some have been left stunned after learning his age.
The former kids' TV presenter is famed for hosting ITV's daytime competitions, but he will be presenting Lorraine every day from 9am for the next two weeks.
The news was announced on Lorraine last month, with eponymous host Lorraine Kelly saying she was thrilled Andi would be taking over the reins while she enjoys a summer break.
The last man to host the show was Michael Ball for a few instalments back in 2010.
Television star Andi has impressed fans with his hosting debut on the show, with many begging him to present on a more permanent basis.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Hayley said: " @andipeters we are loving watching Andi Peters presenting this morning on #lorraine so funny my kids are laughing."
Fi said: "Andi Peters is smashing this!"
Neneh tweeted: "Loving @andipeters on #lorraine this morning. Hilarious. Give him his own show @ITV ".

Another viewer added: "Doesn’t @andipeters just cheer your morning up #lorraine can’t think of any other morning tv presenter that does that".
But some were fixated on the presenter's age after Andi revealed he recently celebrated his 50th birthday.
