ITV Loose Women's Frankie Bridge says 'everything's fine' after suffering 'awkward' doctor's appointment

Frankie Bridge gave a piece of simple advice to her followers after suffering an 'awkward' docotor's appointment. The Loose Women star took to her Instagram Story where she spoke directly to her followers about her day which had been filled with appointments.

It came the day after many of the stars of the ITV lunchtime show headed for a big festive lunch and it appears Frankie wasn't feeling too fresh as she dashed around to her planned appointments.

"Excuse how I look," she started her series of chatty videos with her 1.5 million followers. "We had the Loose lunch yesterday and as I'm sure you can imagine, it was a bit of a mental one. I got there at two and I think I left about half nine so you can imagine how good I'm feeling today and I've had a day of appointments."

She went on to share how she had had her blood taken which she admitted to being "such a child" about before adding: "Especially when you've been drinking that night before was not enjoyable." Frankie, 33, then said she had to go for an electrocardiogram [ECG] and while quick to say everything was "fine", she did suffer a bit of a mishap.

"I've never had one of those before and for some reason in my head I was going to be running." she said. "So I went down in the lift with the woman that does it and I said, what actually happens in this thing? and she said, 'It's really quick,'" before the nurse quickly made clear to Frankie that running in a test was something completely different.

"Then I went in and I did my typical thing, I didn't wear a bra today and I never think about this when I go to appointments and stuff. I didn't really know how this thing works and she said, 'Take everything off from the waist up but you can leave your bra on.'"

Frankie went on to say that she was allowed to leave her top on instead but it still led to further problems. "She asked me to pull my top up so I was literally laying on ther bed with my top around my neck and my boobs sticking up and she felt really close. I was just really uncomfortable."

"She then had to stick some of the things down my side so I didn't really know where to put my arms. So I kept awkwardly moving my arms around and just feeling like this was a really unnecessary awkwardness with someone that probably could just have been quite easy.

The former The Saturdays singer then added: "So yeah... If you're going for an ECG guys, wear a bra!" It comes after Frankie opened up about one of her latest therapy sessions.

The mum-of-two, who is married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, posted a selfie wearing a cosy blue sweater as she showed fans her 'puffy eyes' and red nose. "Those after therapy puffy eyes and a red runny nose... cos Christmas isn't all parties and presents," the singer and TV star captioned the post and added a peace sign.

Later appearing on the Loose Women panel, Frankie reflected on her decision to post the photograph. While she admitted to loving Christmas, even describing herself as 'Mrs Claus', she admitted she struggles with the pressure to keep everyone happy.

She explained: "Actually this time of year comes a lot of pressure. You can't necessarily do exactly what you want to do, you're travelling here, there and everywhere, you're trying to keep everyone happy. Although it is something I love, I find when I'm supposed to feel happy in a situation, I feel that pressure."

She then added: "I am literally Mrs Claus, I love Christmas, I love the lead up to it, I love the decorations. I was just aware I had this low moment and I thought I'm gonna share it because all anyone's seeing is me out having all my Christmas parties and out with the girls, and it all looks fun and games."
