ITV Loose Women fans divided as Ruth Langsford shares new look

Ruth Langsford surprised viewers of Loose Women as she debuted a new look today.

For one segment of the ITV talkshow, the 62-year-old presenter appeared looking rather different. She had swapped out her short blonde hair for long brunette locks, completed by a full fringe.

She had decided to opt for the new look, taking inspiration from Big Brother's Davina McCall. Her new fringe hit the headlines this morning after such a drastic change.

A little while later, Ruth said: "If you've just joined us by the way, this is a wig. Just saying, just in case."

Fans on Twitter didn't know how to feel about the TV host's 'new do'. One user said: "@loosewomen I'm sorry but I can't take @RuthieeL seriously #LooseWomen"

While some thought she looked more like her co-star Coleen Nolan than singer Cher. Claire said: "She looks like Coleen #LooseWomen." Another added: "Poor Ruth looks like Coleen Nolan with that wig on #LooseWomen."
