Murdered teenager Matty's real father was revealed on ITV drama Innocent on tonight's episode.
Matty's biological father was unmasked as Gary Walker, after police spoke to him after he was attacked by John, the man previously believed to be Matty's father.
Police quizzed Gary and he admitted he was Matty's father, after he had a short affair with Matty's mum Maria.
Gary said he had had contact with his son, but that it had got messy and he had told him that John was his real dad and started to distance himself.
Gary was then asked by police where he was on the night of Matty's murder and he went silent.
Viewers loved the scenes as they finally got some answers, but many were quick to point out where they recognised Gary from.
Jason Done, who plays Gary, is also well known for his role as teacher Tom Clarkson in Waterloo Road.
And lots of viewers were quick to make the connection and comment on it on social media.
Lauren said: "Hi Tom from waterloo road, he still looks good looking all these years haha."
Another said: "Omg is that Tom Clarkson in #innocent????"
@sillycharityx said: "TOM CLARKSON."
Louise Collier said: "So the boys real dad is Tom from waterloo road."
And Hannah said: "Aw I haven’t seen him since Waterloo Road, rip Mr Clarkson."
