ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers spot 'criminal' act as they make threat over future series

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here fans were left stunned over the latest elimination from the jungle so much so, they have made a threat about future series. During Wednesday night's trip to the Australian jungle, viewers watched as Babatunde Alshe was voted off the ITV reality show.

It was revealed by hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly that the actor and comedian received the fewest votes from the public and would therefore be the fifth campmate to leave the camp following Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas, Sue Cleaver and Boy George.

Hollyoaks star Owen Warner looked upset as Babatunde hugged his campmates goodbye. Meanwhile, Matt Hancock has been accused of 'breaking the rules' as he said to the exiting star: "Oh you are so wonderful," before adding: "Will you say that to Gina?"

After his exit, Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatunde told co-hosts Ant and Dec: "I loved it in there but I needed my freedom… Living in it has been a whole different experience. Before when I used to watch this show I used to think to myself ‘Ah man, these guys are just playing, it’s all good in there’. And then you know spending two-and-a-bit weeks in there, it’s hardcore, it’s intense.”

During his time in the jungle, Babatunde was the first to say 'I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!', backing out of the first trial which involved walking along the show’s infamous plank 334ft in the air. He also faced his biggest fear of toads having been picked out of the tombola to put his head inside a box of amphibians during another trial.

"I have been dreading each and every trial," the 36-year-old confessed. "I feel like I am more scared of toads now than I was because you guys just sprang that on me. I don’t like the way they look. They look like they were birthed in the pit of hell, they’re demons."

But his exit came as a shock to I'm A Celebrity viewers with many flocking to social media to complain over the 'criminal' act as they made clear who they'd have liked to have seen gone instead. @caffelaytte tweeted: "Matt and Chris outliving baba's time in the jungle is criminal. The british public can't vote for sh*t. #ImACeleb."

@NikNaks_x said: "Who is voting for Matt Hancock and Chris Moyles over Baba? Wrongens!! #ImACeleb." @laalaabee commented: "Wtf is wrong with the British public that they voted out baba before Chris or Matt?! Actually getting rid of the most entertaining celebs first and it makes no sense #ImACeleb." @FtblRocco added: "Matt Hancock making it further than someone like Baba sums up the British public voting man, shambles #ImACeleb."

Others are threatening to 'boycott' the show if the former health secretary wins the reality show during the final this Sunday (November 27). @escandrew47 tweeted: "If Matt wins a boycott of next season might be necessary. Who wants to join me? #ImACeleb." @mirorballstyles said: "I'm making a declaration if matt wins i’m never watching again #ImACeleb." @Thisgirl862969 wrote: "Baba being kicked out. I will boycott I'm a celeb for the rest of my life if Matt wins #ImACeleb."

@deanleake02 posted: "Swear to god if Matt wins I am considering emigration… why has he not even been in the bottom two yet? #ImACeleb." @HollifieldOwen shared: "If Matt Hancock wins I'm a celebrity the whole country should give its head a wobble. #ImACeleb." @ebonywitch added: "If Matt wins, I am not watching this programme ever again. #ImACeleb."

However, the MP does have a lot of support. @Drfc88 said: "Buzzing that Matt Hancock is still in the jungle hopefully he goes on to win it #ImACeleb." @murray_hill2 tweeted: "#ImACeleb I’ve voted Matt every day so far 5 times, deal with it people. I would love to see the public’s reaction when he wins." @SharonCasino added: "Ok I’m just going to say it.. I think Matt is great would love to see him win #ImACelebrity."
