ITV I'm a Celebrity viewers praised Snoochie Shy for "staying true to herself" on Sunday night's episode.
Snoochie opened up about her birthmark and said: “One of my main things coming in here, and I said it to my mum and the guy I’m seeing, ‘I think people are going to think I’m a catfish. I’m not going to look like my Insta’.
“Insta is your best angles, you’ve got sick lighting, you’ve got make-up on. I don’t edit my face, but obviously I’ll put like… if I’ve got spots I hide it, with my birthmark I cover it with make-up… I muted [the word] catfish on my Instagram. You know where you can mute words? This is the first time I’ve shown people my birth mark and stuff.”
In response, Frankie in the telegraph said: “I think Snoochie came in here thinking her birthmark was an imperfection. I don’t think she could be any further from the truth.”
Snoochie continued: “No one really knows, except from my family and friends, nobody knows.”
Naughty Boy said: “I think people are going to admire you for it.”

Speaking in the telegraph later, Snoochie said: “I actually feel much better for being here and having my birthmark out. I know it sounds so stupid but I just feel like me and I think I’m just realising that even if people do say something about it, it says more about them than it does me. There’s more to life really. It is what it is and I feel better for it.”
Viewers showed their appreciation. Tracey Preston said: "I love that Snoochie is true to herself, unlike too many others, natural and real. Stay true to yourself, babe."
Ryan Glendenning said: "Such a true and empowering message from Snoochie."
Another, Mel, said: "This just proves how we view ourselves is not always how others view us! Snoochie is so sweet and this whole birthmark thing resonates so much."
