ITV I'm A Celebrity's Matt Hancock kisses Boy George in 'greatest plot twist' of series

Matt Hancock and Boy George appeared to put aside their differences in the I'm A Celebrity after-show party. A video of the pair recorded just moments after the series ended shows the MP planting a kiss on the singer's cheek - and the touching moment has been described as "the greatest plot twist of them all".

The two of of them were reunited after Matt left camp, finishing the show in third place. Former Lioness Jill Scott was crowned the winner of the 22nd series of the show, while Hollyoaks star Owen Warner was runner-up.

In the footage, in an apparent attempt to dispel rumours of a feud between them, Boy George is seen playfully asking the politician: "How much do you hate me, Matt? He hates me! Stupid people". Matt, 44, is then seen leaning over and kissing the 61-year-old star on the cheek, reports The Sun.

One fan replied: "You've changed your tune" while another said the clip the "greatest plot twist of them all". It comes after the pair had awkwardly clashed in the jungle, with the singer branding the former Health Secretary "slimy" and "slippery".

Boy George told Seann Walsh : "I can’t stand Matt. I have tried to like him and I’ve failed. I find him slimy, I find him slippery."

He later admitted to Matt: "I have been hating on you, I have to be honest. I sometimes feel like you don’t say what you mean and you’re not particularly direct."

The star added: "I’m trying to separate you as a human being and you as a politician, and I’m struggling with it. We don’t share the same politics. I am struggling a little bit with you.”

Matt insisted: "I'm just being me". But he told the singer George he was he had aired his true feelings to his face, and said he'd "enjoyed spending time" with him.
