ITV I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly reveal former campmate is 'always' on show thanks to detail viewers may miss

Viewers may not have spotted it but a former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here campmate lives on in camp, despite it being three years since he spent 22 days there. The ITV reality show's hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly revealed all during their latest jungle debrief on Instagram.

After wrapping up their hosting duties live on the hit programme, the Geordie duo have now made it tradition to head to Instagram where they go live and discuss the latest instalment of the show and get fans' reaction and opinions. And the jazz it up, the pair have also been being joined by some familiar faces as special guests.

During the latest Jungle Club, which Ant and Dec have named their nightly Instagram Lives, they were joined by Roman Kemp. The Capital FM star appeared in the 2019 series in which he finished in third place behind Corrie's Andy Whyment in second place and former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa who is still the last Queen of the Jungle following I'm A Celeb's move to the UK during the coronavirus pandemic.

As they chatted about the current series, Dec revealed how Roman had left "an enduring legacy" in the I'm A Celeb camp. He told those tuning into the stream: "Roman is still on the show every night," to which Ant replied: "You need to be an eagle-eyed viewer to spot this."

Appearing surprised, the 29-year-old replied: "I don't know how this is still there." Explaining exactly what happened, Roman continued: "I remember we were making a lot of lists and the chalk that you get - you get one tiny little bit of chalk when you're writing those lists - I remember I hid a bit of chalk and I kept it and Caitlyn Jenner and I were making a day count of how many days we were on.

"And then I just got bored and I started just graffitiing all the inside of different places and one of those things was the telephone box. I don't know how it survived." Ant, meanwhile, was holding up his phone to show a picture of Chris Moyles in the camp's phonebox, which the campmates get calls to from Kev following each Dingo Dollars challenge.

He zoomed in the show an etching that had been made inside the iconic red telephone box that read: "Ro woz ere". Ant then commented: "Brilliant. And you know what, that'll stay there for a long time." They also quizzed Roman on what he knws about Boy George from his dad, Spandau Ballet star Martin.

"My dad genuinely was like, when he heard George was going in, he was like,' Oo, he's got a sharp tongue'. That's all he ever says," Roman shared. "But I think that's my dad's way of saying he swears a lot or says some quick things. My dad's never good at confrontation so he said he'd always avoid George."
