ITV I'm A Celebrity flooded with criticism just minutes after show started

I'm A Celebrity was flooded with criticism within moments of the new series starting - over the celebrities taking part.

The hit ITV show was back on Sunday night (November 21) with Ant and Dec returning to host.

But fans took to Twitter to criticise the producer's choice of celebrities for the show as they said they didn't recognise many of them, reported Birmingham Live.

This year's line-up includes David Ginola, Louise Minchin, Snoochie Shy, Richard Madeley, Frankie Bridge, Kadeena Cox, Matty Lee, Naughty Boy, Danny Miller and Arlene Phillips.

Jack wrote: "I know about 3 people from #ImACeleb this year wtf"

MumfordSays added: "Really getting loose with the definition of "celebrity" these days #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity"

"I'm usually so so excited for I'm a Celeb but some of the celebrities they've chosen seem so dull that I'm wondering if I'll lose interest this series. I'm sure they'll soon prove me wrong!! Maybe they're more likable than I'm presuming #ImACeleb," Cheeky sausage said.

Ash wrote: "Using the term “Celebrity” very loosely this year!! #ImACeleb"

Alan Bretherton commented: "Scraping the barrel with these men #ImACeleb."

And Callum Patrick asked: "Who the f*** are half of these ? #ImACeleb"

Sir West of the Ham said: "Possibly the least celebrity line up on #ImACeleb"

And Newman wrote: "Perhaps they should call it "Who's the Celebrity in here " ? #ImACeleb"

Andrew Brown added: "Worst line up ever so far."
