ITV I'm A Celebrity flooded with criticism after stars' confessions

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here was off air for three nights last week due to damage from Storm Arwen.

The celebrities were removed from the castle, in North Wales, and put into isolation for their safety.

But with the show already having three million less viewers this year than last, the producers are facing further criticism from the fans.

One of the many things that viewers have been annoyed about is the fact that most of the celebrity contestants admitted to sneaking disallowed snacks while in isolation, and only Danny Miller stuck to the diet of rice and beans.

Frankie Bridge admitted that she ate a whole Fruit and Nut and a bag of Squashies, while Louise Minchin claimed that she enjoyed a Snickers bar - but it "went straight through" her as it made her ill.

They asked Danny what he ate and he said: "I don't think you'll believe me - I stuck to it. I didn't even sleep in the bed."

He slept on the floor.

The Emmerdale star said: "I decided to just stick to the rice and beans because I got myself in to that routine. It was tough and it was hard but I didn't want to undo all that work and effort to start again and starve my body again."

Fans weren't too impressed at the revelations but had plenty of praise for Danny.

Emma said: "Danny had the right idea of sticking to rice and beans and lying on the floor. Honestly I hope he wins because he’s taken it so seriously even from the start he said he eased into the diet and stuff! #imaceleb."

Amy said: "Of course they tried to smuggle stuff in. Just proves they’ve been fed on stuff other than rice and beans which kind of ruins the point of the show in my opinion, but we move #ImACeleb."

Courtney said: "I think Danny was right to stick to Rice and Beans because he won't struggle as all the others are gonna struggle now going back to rice and beans and starving themselves again #ImACeleb."

Other eagle eyes viewers spotted differences in the celebrities appearances when they returned to the castle from isolation.

It looked like some had been pampered and changed their hair.

Marie said: "Arlene died her hair and naughty boy had a haircut #ImACeleb."

Shan said: "Can't deal with how good the campmates are looking after being away from the castle. Haircuts and all #ImACeleb."

Ryan said: "#ImACeleb The best thing about the campmates returning after the break is seeing all the shaved faces and haircuts."

Hair isn't the only thing fans noticed appearance wise as they also accused some of the female celebs of wearing make up, which is normally not allowed in the camp.

One user said: "Personally I cant get into #ImACeleb in the castle for these reasons 1) it's heated (they deny this but its obvious.. and 2) they allow make up jewellery etc so these so called celebrities aren't really going without. #GetBackToTheJungle."

Rob said: "Has Cledwyn opened a make up shop on the side in the castle? #ImACelebrity #Imaceleb."

Laura said: "Ugh. Look at all the make up and clean hair #ImACeleb."

Many Twitter users have also noticed that some of the campmates are being given much more air time than others, potentially creating an unfair advantage for some.

For example, Naughty Boy keeps threatening to quit the show and upsets the camp when he takes charge of cooking.

Fans have bashed him and producers claiming that it's "not the Naughty Boy show."

One contestant who fans would like to see more of on screen, though, is Olympic diver Matty Lee.

Chloe said: "So fed up of seeing the same people now... why not give Matty and Louise some screen time?"

Tay said: "I actually feel bad for Matty not getting any screen time #ImACeleb."

Erin said: "poor Matty deserves more screen time #ImACeleb."
