The coronavirus pandemic meant the 2020 summer series had to be cancelled and there was no winter edition this year.

But as they waited to meet a new batch of singletons arriving at the famous TV villa in Mallorca, viewers began complaining of issues.

"As if ITV hub has crashed" fumed one.

"ITV HUB NEEDS TO BEHAVE!! WHAT IS THIS BUFFERING ABOUT?" shouted another fan.

"ITV hub fix your s**t," another grumbled.

"ITV hub you will pay for your crimes," fumed another fan.

Another wrote: "Ffs the universe is telling me to not watch Love Island cuz I can't access ITV hub."

And another said with a crying gif: "ITV hub keeps breaking so I might end up having to watch it on catchup."

Host Laura Whitmore is at the helm again as a brand new host of singletons seek to find their perfect match.

Islanders will do their best to flirt, date, couple up and try and avoid being ‘dumped’ from the Mallorcan villa.

There will be more texts, fire pit gatherings and challenges for the lovestruck Islanders, all narrated by the voice of Love Island, Iain Stirling.
