ITV Hub goes down - infuriating fans as they can't watch England semi-final match

Football fans have been left infuriated after ITV Hub went down during England's semi-final match against Denmark this evening.

The ITV player announced that they had been experiencing technical difficulties with Apple TV - meaning that some viewers hadn't been able to watch a large portion of the match tonight.

ITV Hub tweeted: "Unfortunately we're experiencing issues with Apple TV - please bear with us while we fix this. Apologies for any inconvenience."

But viewers were not impressed, with one tweeting: "14 minutes gone and counting."

While another raged: "Absolutely garbage. Already bad enough with low quality streams and now the app keeps crashing out. Shouldn’t be allowed to have the rights to the football as you’re doing it a disservice."

A third wrote: "Ridiculous. Please redevelop the apps."

This comes as ITV pushed back Love Island by an hour this evening for the football.

It will finish at the much later time of 11:05pm, an hour later than normal.

Last night's episode was full of drama after Hugo got into a blazing row with Sharon and Faye.

Hugo burst into tears after he realised he'd offended the girls with his comments about disliking "fake" personality and looks in the candid couples challenge.

Faye said: "That word [fake] keeps getting thrown around doesn't it? It's ignorant as f**k."

"I don't give a f**k if he's crying," she later said. "He needs to get f**king educated why girls get work done."

"I didn't mean anything malicious did I?" Hugo said, before later apologising to both women.

"I just didn't mean to upset anyone, that's the last thing I wanted," he added.

In tonight's episode we'll see two new bombshells, Millie Court and Lucinda Strafford, enter the villa.
