ITV Good Morning Britain viewers confused as guest enters set on a horse - but it does actually make sense

There's making an entrance and then there's arriving onto live TV on a horse.

That's exactly what Good Morning Britain guest Freedom Zampaladus did on the live programme today, and left viewers a little confused.

But it all DOES make sense.

Freedom, nicknamed 'The Urban Cowboy', entered the ITV set on his horse Callie as it relates to his latest project which sees him ride around Leicester on Callie.

The 37-year-old uses horses to help children with behavioural problems after he believed that working with them him to change his life after he became involved in drug dealing.

It was at the age of 17 that Freedom travelled to Antigua and began working for his uncle at his stables.

He said: "Went to Antigua and got involved with horses, my uncle was the island's Scarface and his horses were his toys.

"Horses are therapeutic, people say the dog is man’s best friend but I firmly believe a horse is.

"They are the perfect animal to help self-esteem and confidence."

The entrepreneur added: "My character and personality as a kid, I loved animals so because I had this opportunity to work with racehorses I just took it.

"I was lucky because the horses was my escape –when I wasn't dealing with them everything else was negative, but they were the positive."

Freedom later returned to the UK and turned his life around.

He is now helping over 80 children every week with his new programme which he says is already seeing results.

Freedom told hosts Ben Shepherd and Susanna Reid : "Two per cent of ethnic minorities make up the equestrian world. I'm not going to wait for anyone to tell me to do something about it, I always knew I could, I wish I did this 10 years earlier.

"You see a massive difference, when we take young people from the city out into the country they become so much more calmer, so much more happy.

Despite their initial confusion, viewers were quick to praise Freedom for his work (ITV)

"They want to get involved in anything."
