A Good Morning Britain viewer tweeted Piers Morgan about newsreader Charlotte Hawkins saying she was a 'funny colour'.
The avid ITV breakfast show fan said: "@piersmorgan why does @CharlotteHawkns look a funny colour today? Is too much make up is making her look jaundiced? #lessismore"
Piers responded with a possible explanation, he said: "Not sure Simon, I’ll investigate. Early rumours of ‘new foundation’ though allegations (from Susanna) of too much fake tan."
But many other viewers jumped to Charlotte's defence, one said: "She looks beautiful."
Another said: "She looks ok from where I’m sitting!"
A third added: "It’s your TV screen..."
The 44-year-old mum-of-one joined the Good Morning Britain team in 2014 after leaving Sky's breakfast show Sunrise.
She has presented the weather and read the news and occasionally fills in for Susanna Reid as co-host when she is away.
Charlotte was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing on season five and also presents a Sunday afternoon show on Classic FM.
