ITV Good Morning Britain under fire as fans spot 'shameful' Eurovision blunder

Good Morning Britain came under fire for a "shameful" Eurovision blunder on today's show.

Tuesday's edition of the ITV news programme was hosted by Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid. They were joined by Richard Arnold to discuss the iconic song contest's return tonight.

The Ukrainian entry is the favourite to win this year's edition, which is being hosted in Turin. The song is titled Stefania and artists Kalush Orchestra said the song represents "every Ukrainian".

Good Morning Britain cut to show a clip of the song, but viewers on Twitter noticed they broadcasted a clip of last year's entry, Shum by Go_A.

Zena said: "You messed up with the Ukraine entry that was last years entry "shum" by Go_A.. You should be looking for "stefania" by the kalush orchestra.."

Matt added: "Other countries take Eurovision seriously, yet @GMB can’t even show the right Ukrainian entry"

Lucrezia commented : "Can your researchers not get their facts right, GMB? Yes, that song was Ukraine, but they've never had an artist called Stefania. That's the name of THIS year's entry, and your clip was of last year's entry Shum by Go_A. Shameful. Get it right!"

Joe tweeted: "I think you played the wrong song. That wasn't Stefania, that was Shum by Go_A from last year's contest."

Kex posted: "Lol GMB playing last year's Ukraine Eurovision entry. That's not Stefania"

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV and the ITV Hub
