ITV Good Morning Britain thrown into chaos after set falls apart

GMB was thrown into chaos this morning as part of the set fell apart during a segment - leaving Ranvir Singh and Richard Madeley stunned.

Ranvir and Richard took to some airline seats for a segment about reclining seats on airplanes - after a video of Gemma Collins getting mad at someone that did it to her went viral.

Ranvir slammed back into Richard on the seats quite vigorously to illustrate the point and he shouted at her: "Thanks very much Ran."

After introducing the item they then walked over to the main desk to debate the issue further with TOWIE's Bobby Norris and Love Island's Kady Dermott.

But as they got up Richard's seat collapsed onto the floor. Richard tried to brush it off and said: "Let's just pretend it didn't happen."

But Ranvir said "Oh no, something really terrible has happened."

They carried on walking to the desk, but the camera panned to the devastation they'd left behind.

To get Ranvir back Richard then started to kick her chair as she was chatting to the guests - but she eventually appeared to get genuinely annoyed and snapped back at him: "Can you please stop doing that now."

Richard tried it one more time and Ranvir again twirled round and told him to stop in a very stern way - and he looked suitably guilty.

And viewers picked up on the tension between the pair and took to social media to point it out.

Fay Dean said: "Why is #GMB so awkward this morning?"

Stella said: "richard very aggy with ranvir today!"

And another said: "Omg Richard Madeley is absolutely embarrassing right now. What the hell is going on!"

*GMB continues at 6am on ITV on Monday
