ITV Good Morning Britain's sound problem leads to very awkward moment between Kate Garraway and Christine Lampard

Good Morning Britain was plagued with a sound issue leading to a very awkward moment on set.

Throughout today's show, viewers noticed a number of production errors from a young girl being cut-off to background noise during the weather segment.

This culminated in a very awkward moment where Kate Garraway asked Christine Lampard a question on Lorraine.

Christine was set to give an overview to viewers as to what would be featured on today's show.

But just before that, Kate joked that only she and Christine knew the problem of having flyaway hair in humid weather.

Kate then said: "Christine knows what I mean, the frizzy hair tyranny, isn't that right?"

But over on Lorraine, Christine started her usual address, ignoring Kate and saying: "Coming up after half-past celebrating the 80s with Keith Lemon..."

The camera then cut back to the studio where Kate's fellow Good Morning Britain presenters, Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins, were laughing at her.

Kate said: "She wasn't ignoring me, she did her me, there's just a sound problem.

"She does get it, I promise you."

However, that didn't stop Adil and Charlotte taunting Kate about Christine's cold-shoulder.
