Piers Morgan appeared to reignite Lorraine Kelly's feud with Conservative MP Esther McVey.
Earlier this year Lorraine caused a media storm when she snubbed McVey on Good Morning Britain.
Esther was on GMB to promote her leadership campaign when Piers asked Lorraine if she remembered Esther from their GMTV days .
However, Lorraine gave a very pursed reply saying: "Yeah, yes I do. Right coming up at 8:30."
Esther was later asked about her feud with Lorraine at a press conference about her Tory leadership bid and she said the pair didn't get on because Esther was promoted above Lorraine to star with Eamonn Holmes.
But Lorraine explained it was because she didn't like Esther's politics.
Lorraine said: "There is no battle, I've had my own show since 1992, she only joined later, so I don't know what she's on about.
"As for sharing dressing rooms, it was just a little room that we shared, it wasn't like a proper dressing room.
"I'll be genuinely honest, I don't remember her, my show was completely different."
Today, as the 59-year-old celebrated 35 years on TV, Piers asked her about the awkward moment.
She said: "You bring out the worst in me. And you know that morning I had just had enough with all politicians."
Venting her frustration with the current state of politics, she added: "She [McVey] is just as bad as all of them."
This seemed to be in keeping with her comments on the matter when she said earlier this year: "What it was, I just got sick to the back teeth of the political atmosphere.
"And I strongly disagree with her policies on LGBT rights and I just thought to myself, I've had enough of this.
"We've had two and a half years of people going round in circles and not sorting Brexit out.
"And now we've got a state in Britain where people are at each other's throats and it's got to stop."
