Piers Morgan ignored his TV bosses taking out his ear piece during a live rant on Good Morning Britain .
The outspoken 54-year-old had just finished a segment about Meghan Markle and the royal baby when he started sounded off about social media.
As the dad-of-four was about to launch into a rant about how studies saying Instagram and Facebook overstate their impact on teens, he said: "They are jabbering in my ear, telling me to get on with it... I am just going to take my ear piece out."
He took it out and put it on the desk, while pointing to research carried out by Oxford University about social media.

Co-host Susanna Reid tried to interject saying children and teens have trouble sleeping and forming normal social relationships because of too much time on their devices.
But Piers was having none of it, calling it 'sloppy science'.

The ITV presenter is known for his opinionated style, last week producers were forced to send the show to the commercial break and cut him off.
Piers said 'the world going nuts' after a segment about how social media is impacting the mental health of youngsters.
He continued his tirade by saying companies were being bullied into changing, citing Percy Pigs becoming vegan friendly and then went on to say that if Only Fools And Horses was to be pitched now it would never get passed for TV because of 'snowflakes'.

Piers continued, with Susanna trying to calm the situation, but it was down to the producers who just cut to the ad break, despite Piers still ranting.
Some fans of the breakfast show were concerned for Piers, with one tweeting: "Piers Morgan is gonna have an aneurysm if he carries on."
Another said: "As if they just cut off Piers Morgan off #gmb for ranting too much, dying."
