ITV Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway struggles to hold back tears in heartbreaking interview

Kate Garraway had to hold back the tears as she listened to the heartbreaking story of Good Morning Britain's guests.

The ITV presenter appeared to be extremely upset as a couple who have lost three sons in separate killings told their story.

John and Linda Burke-Monerville were on the show to discuss the increase of violence in London and their fight for justice.

David Bello-Monerville, 38, was fatally stabbed outside his north London home on June 19.

His brother Joseph Burke-Monerville, 19, was shot in 2013 in a case of mistaken identity.

Their eldest brother, Trevor Monerville, was stabbed to death in 1994, aged 26.

As soon as the interview began, Linda burst into tears, unable to articulate her emotions towards the heartbreaking situation.

Viewers saw how Kate comforted the distraught mother, holding her hand throughout the segment and passing her tissues.

As they were ending the interview, Kate looked close to crying as she appeared to take deep breaths and clasped her hands together.

Producers then cut to an ad-break, but Kate could be seen rushing over to Linda's side.
