ITV Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway left red-faced after old footage comes to light

Kate Garraway was left red-faced this morning on GMB as old footage of her came to light.

Ahead of Kate and Adil speaking to an 80-year-old gymnastics star, Kate revealed all about the time she did rhythmic gymnastics for Sport Relief.

Before Kate could explain further Adil said: "But you weren't very good."

But Kate interrupted him, saying: "I stormed it actually, I beat Freddie Flintoff's team."

Footage of Kate in training for Sport Relief was then shown, but she was left embarrassed by the slow-mo footage as it focused on her chest area.

Adil said: "That's going a bit slow isn't it."

Kate said: "It''s super slow mo, like Love Island."

And Adil added: "What is that? I'm not sure what we're meant to be focusing on there."

The footage left Kate covering her face and laughing nervously.

Earlier this week fans were stunned by Kate's new hairstyle and daring outfit.

The star, who usually wears her blonde hair straight, chose to add a bit of texture to her locks, styling some beachy waves.

She also wore a lace low-cut top with a nude waterfall blazer to finish the look.

"It’s called the #wigglewave and is an @amyhair4 specialty! What do you think?"

Fans took to social media to compliment Kate on her new-do.

Peter Hicks said: "Wow absolutely stunning Katie G."
