ITV Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard seagull blunder

Good Morning Britain's presenters Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard made an awkward on-air blunder while discussing seagulls.

The pair were talking about whether there should be a cull of seagulls when things got tricky for the presenting pair according to the Liverpool Echo.

The discussion came after was stolen by one of the scavenging birds - he was allegedly stolen by a swooping bird and carried off. He is yet to be found according to his owner Becca Hill.

Ben asked viewers: "Should there be a seagull cull as you have a lot around the country, and they are spreading?

"Lots of people around the coast will be very conscious of this, but should seagulls be protected?

"We've been running a poll on this, let's have a look."

Ben revealed that 61 per cent of viewers thought that seagulls should be culled, but Kate interrupted and said 61 per cent said they should be protected.

This led to weird moment as the pair tried to work out the correct statistics.

Ben added: "We will work out what the question is and then we will tell you.

"61 percent say something... we should cull the presenters."
