Good Morning Britain host Richard Bacon was slammed by viewers this morning as he asked an awkward question to two fighter pilots.
Fighter pilots Andy and Sedge appeared on the show ahead of a new show starting about the rigorous training fighter pilots go through.
Richard and co-host Ranvir asked a series of excited questions to the pair - including if their job was really like the iconic film Top Gun.
And then as the pair were coming to the end of the interview Richard asked them "and are you single?"
The pilots visibly cringed and Andy said he was married and Sedge also confirmed he was off the market - much to Richard's dissapointment.
He said: "So you're young fighter pilots and you're not single - that seems like a mistake."
And viewers took to social media to slam Richard's inappropriate question.
J Red said: "Why is richard bacon asking the two pilots if they are single ???"
Francesca Baker said: "What an awkward interview with those 2 fighter pilots. Would rather know about the training and their thoughts than how ‘sexy’ it is and how it would be better if they were single! WTF? #GMB @ITV "
And Emma James said: "Could they let the 2 pilots finish answering a question at all before firing another one at them."
