Good Morning Britain suffered a hilarious blunder as a presenter walked off set before cameras cut.

With the usual hosts on holiday, Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins stepped in for Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.

And this week, Richard Arnold was replaced by TOWIE' s James 'Arg' Argent.

Presenting the latest entertainment news, Arg finished had finished talking about the Spice Girls, when the mishap took place.

As they were finishing the segment, Charlotte said: "Thank you so much for that and we will see you again later."

But rather than staying on the GMB desk, Arg walked off as the cameras panned around the studio.

Charlotte attempted to continue, introducing the next story, but Richard was stunned by Arg.

Jokingly, Richard said: "Oh and he's off, bye - he knows where he's not wanted."

Arg later explained on Twitter his awkward disappearance.

He tweeted: "My breakfast was getting cold!!!"
