ITV GMB viewers shocked over Richard Arnold's appearance in pre-recorded clip

Richard Arnold caused quite the stir on Good Morning Britain on Friday (May 26) while celebrating 50 years of The Rocky Horror Show.

The presenter joined hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Ben Shepard in the ITV studio to chat about his latest visit to the West End. Ahead of a pre-recorded segment, the presenter warned viewers: 'Brace yourselves - because some things cannot be unseen."

The first thing viewers see as the clip plays is Richard, dressed in full Rocky gear as Frank N Furter. He's donning a red and black feather boa, matching corset, suspenders and heels, with his chest and legs on show.

Richard joked about his outfit: "Needless to say this came down from my loft." Cameras followed as he took on a dance masterclass in an empty theatre, joined by Ore Oduba, who plays Brad in the production.

Once the clip ended, back in the studio Ben pointed out that he could see his co-star's nipples in his outfit.

The light-hearted segment left viewers shocked, with many not expecting to see Richard so scantily-clad first thing in the morning. Many took to social media to share their bemusement at the unusual TV moment.

garyderrick10 tweeted: "Jesus..what did I just see..looked up from phone and Richard Arnold is in a corset and feather boa....#gmb" while @Itt39354118 added: "Dear lord 7.40 in the morning looking at that #gmb," with a laughing face emoji.

@htbuk1992 tweeted: "Richard Arnold in a corset - not exactly what I wanted to wake to #GMB" and @farahhus simply asked: "Whyyyyyy #GMB".

@Maryisbac shared: "Cant think of anything more vomit inducing than seeing Richard Arnold in a stocking and suspenders in the morning. #GMB while @watchfanuk said: "I wasn’t prepared for Richard Arnold doing The Time Warp this morning".

@FlopsyPickle complained: "I’m no prude but do we really need to see Richard Arnold in a pair of knickers, basque, stockings and suspenders and heels?"
