ITV Family Fortunes fans alarmed by team's weird obsession

Family Fortunes fans were shocked tonight as a team seemed to be obsessed with one odd subject.

Tonight's show saw the Buckley family from Bury take on the Phillips family from Bristol.

The Buckley family consisted of Lynn, Shaunee, Louis, Chris and Kean.

Host Gino D'Acampo asked the families a variety of questions, but the Buckley family kept bringing up death in their answers.

The first question that concerned the morbid subject was when they were asked "What is something people predict?"

The family guessed "The day they're going to die" which unsurprisingly wasn't an answer on the board.

The second time the morbid subject came up was when they were asked "What would be a bad day to dump your partner?"

Birthdays, Christmas Day and Valentines were all correct answers, but traffic warden Lynn said: "The day their parents die?" which again proved to be incorrect.

Gino commented on the deathly theme of their answers and they said: "Guess we're just a morbid family."

And shockingly the subject came up for a third time when they were asked to "name something you'd hate to be inside of when it breaks down"

Mum Lynn said: "A hearse" and Shaunee said: "What is your obsession?"

And Gino again commented on the strange answer saying: "What is wrong with you? The only thing you think of is death, think happy thoughts Lynn it's family fortunes."

Viewers at home were also startled by the family's answers.

Claire said: "Why the obsession with death?"

Mike said: "She scarily likes talking about death... that’s like the 3rd time."

Bernadette O said: "Lynne’s a wee bit obsessed with death."

Dylan said: "The one family seems to be obsessed with death."

And Charlie said: "Very morbid lot this family."

*Family Fortunes continues at 8pm on ITV next Sunday
