ITV Emmerdale viewers 'work out' fresh Faye twist as they spot 'dodgy' reaction after horror attack

Emmerdale viewers think they may have uncovered a fresh Faye twist.

The character, played by Jane Gurnett, finally revealed her true colours in Tuesday night's episode. Fans were concerned there was something more at play since she arrived in the fictional Yorkshire village and started dating Mary.

Things took a turn last week when she was hit by the news a women's shelter she runs had burned down. Faye asked Mary for help and the character sent over a huge sum of cash to pay for the rebuild.

However, Suzy Merton was suspicious and urged Mary to be more vigilant as she could find no evidence about the mother's shelter blaze. Faye revealed she was a fraudster after Mary confronted her in the latest show.

However, the character was unmoved after her identity was exposed and proceeded to attack Mary, who was left unconscious. Mary was discovered by Rhona Goskirk's ex-husband, Gus.

The character, played by Alan Mckenna, has recently arrived in the Dales and he phoned an ambulance so Mary could get some much-needed medical attention. However, viewers following the show on Twitter spotted how he acted suspiciously and suggested he is linked in some way to Faye.

Jamal said: "Why do I have a bad feeling Gus and this woman are working together. He looked a bit dodgy leaving the house."

Mick added: "Hang on is Faye Gus's wife. Flash to bang on my behalf."

Tracy commented: "Is Gus related to Faye?"
