Emmerdale viewers were confused as Gabby Thomas' love interest was unveiled on tonight's show.
The character, played by Rosie Bentham, ventured into the world of online dating on Monday's episode. Gabby was ready to quit her dating app until she stumbled upon someone named Chris.
Gabby was impressed by his appearance and decided to meet up for a date on the latest episode. Laurel Thomas warned her stepdaughter to be careful on her date before she met up with her mystery new partner.

Laurel has recently engaged in a romantic fling with Kit the physio and spent time with her new beau on tonight's episode. However, it was revealed at the end of the episode that Kit had betrayed Laurel as he was behind the Chris account.
Gabby greeted "Chris" at the end of the episode, but viewers were distracted by the twist as they claimed Gabby would have already encountered the physio around the small village.
Chris said: "Wouldn’t have Gabby seen Kit around the village?"
Pam spotted: "One moment. How has Gabby not seen 'Kit' loitering round the village"
Jess posted : "Oh god, they’re really going to do a Laurel/Kit/Gabby storyline. I thought Gabby would have seen Laurel with him at this point, or at the very least know who he was, given he visits Marlon so frequently"
