ITV Emmerdale viewers 'spot famous face' in scene's background

Emmerdale viewers spotted a Nadine Dorries lookalike in the background of the cafe.

The village residents have been taking it easy as of late as the drama has subsided in favour of families fixing their broken bonds. That being said, things quickly shifted as Charles was found unconscious in the church with Mapreet blaming his daughter Naomi attacking him.

Despite the swift and violent change, viewers were more taken aback by an earlier conversation Manpreet and Charles had in the cafe specifically because a famous face appeared to join them. As the pair were discussing Charles' relationship with Naomi, a blonde-haired woman in the background stole focus.

The woman kept to herself for the scene but viewers were insistent the extra was politician Nadine Dorries.

Taking to Twitter to share their findings, one viewer said: "Us Viewers When Nadine Dorries wonders into the background of Manpreet's shot within 5 seconds of the episode starting!"

Another added:"Was that Nadine Dorries in the back?"

A third viewer said: "Don't they think this program is torture enough without giving Nadine Dorries a bit part?"

A final comment added: "Nadine Dorries wandered into background behind Manpreet."

"Nadine" didn't appear again but viewers did watch on to see Naomi arrested for attacking her father. Policewoman Harriet detained her after she tried to make a getaway from the church following accusations from Manpreet she's the reason her father is unconscious.
