ITV Emmerdale viewers sickened by remarks in 'weirdest ever episode'

Emmerdale viewers were taken aback by racy scenes in tonight's show.

Tuesday's visit to the fictional Yorkshire village continued to explore the fallout of Dr Liam Cavanagh's affair with Wendy Posner. The character, played by Susan Cookson, was mortified at the start of the episode after she had spent the night with Liam.

Wendy felt guilty after she cheated on her partner, Bob Hope, and put her encounter with Liam down to a night of drunken passion. However, Bob was struggling with his own feelings as he nearly cheated on Wendy with Bernice Blackstock.
