Emmerdale viewers were shocked to discover Lydia was still using a Bluetooth earpiece.
After Kim revealed to Lydia she wants her to be her wedding planner, Kim took the role under her wing. Eager to juggle her day job at the cafe with the new sudden career push, she promised to make the event as special as she can.
Without realising she'll need to be in multiple places at once, Emmerdale viewers watched on as she struggled to manage her regular customers with caterers. In order to alleviate some of the stress, Lydia treated herself to a piece of technology some viewers called "ancient."

Perched on her ear was a Bluetooth device that wrapped around the side of her face so she could manage calls hands-free. Though severely outdated in this day and age, Lydia seemed to be making the most of the device as she switched between multiple contacts in seconds.
The retro technology took viewers by surprise as they couldn't believe Emmerdale dug up such an old item for a modern scene. One viewer said: "What century did that earpiece come from?!"
Another added: "My god is that a Bluetooth earpiece Lydias got on? I know Emmerdale's a bit ancient but not that ancient."
A third viewer said: "Lydia with her Bluetooth headset on."
A final comment said: "Lydia is cracking me up."
Throughout the episode, Lydia revelled in her new gadget as she made it clear to everyone, especially Kim, that she was busier than ever.
