ITV Emmerdale viewers baffled by blunder as Alex Moore's sinister true identity unveiled

Emmerdale viewers were baffled by a blunder as Alex Moore showed his sinister true identity.

Viewers of the soap have been dubious over the character's true intentions since he returned to the village. Fans following the show on Twitter yesterday questioned if he had a personality transplant after he had been in prison.

He told Naomi Walters in Tuesday's show that he was helping out a mystery woman named Claire as a favour for a friend he was in jail. Fans were sceptical as he won Naomi around when he vowed to do "whatever it takes" to keep her in his life.

Viewer's fears were proven to be true in the latest episode as Alex's true motives were revealed. He has been with Naomi to get closer to Manpreet Sharma and he stole the keys to her GP surgery in Wednesday's programme in an attempt to steal drugs for the mystery woman.

However, he was nearly caught when Manpreet unexpectedly returned to the surgery to retrieve her phone charger. When Manpreet returned home, Alex was already there and tried to ease her fears that someone had broke into the surgery.

Fans following the show on Twitter were confused by how Alex was able to return home before Manpreet when she was driving a car.

Matthew said: "Omg he has superhero powers now able to zoom back on foot faster than she gets back in the car! Wow"

Vicky posted: "How did Alex get back before/same time as Manpreet"

Gavin tweeted: "Continuity screwed up.. AGAIN!"

Guy added: "Alex must be related to the Flash"

Mike commented: "How did Alex get back to the village before Manpreet who’s driving a car?"
