ITV Emmerdale under fire as fans spot problem with Manpreet and Meena showdown

Emmerdale fans were quick to spot a problem during the fight between Manpreet Sharma and Meena Jutla in tonight's episode.

Tuesday's edition of the ITV soap continued to explore the evil nurse's long-running reign of terror over the village.

However, Meena's web of lies are starting to catch up with her as Manpreet and Vinny Dingle are now aware of her murderous ways.

The villain, played by Paige Sandhu, is currently keeping both characters hostage in a barn as she continues her attempts to evade justice.

Her sister discovered the key to her chains in tonight's episode and managed to break free.

Manpreet waited for Meena to come into the barn before she proceeded to attack her and the two engaged in a scuffle.

Meena eventually emerged victorious as Manpreet has been weakened from being drugged by the evil nurse.

Viewers following the show on Twitter all made the same point and questioned why Manpreet didn't leave the barn to get help while Meena was away.

Courtney said: "Why didn't Manpreet just wait til Meena went back to the village to actually escape?"

Shana added: "Why didn’t Manpreet just wait until Meena was gone, how stupid."

Jamie posted : "Why didn't Manpreet just wait until Meena left again to escape? These writers are so dumb!"

Dion commented: "Manpreet probably should have waited until Meena had gone."

Cirah tweeted: "Manpreet managed to get out of the chains and she waited there for Meena to come back? She should have ran the second she got free and found someone to help!"

Suzi said: "Why oh why did Manpreet not just wait until #Meena had gone & then escape with Vinny?"

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV and ITV Hub with an additional episode at 8pm on Thursdays
