ITV Emmerdale stars jokingly spill beans on Kyle Winchester actor Huey Quinn's 'annoying' talent

Two Emmerdale stars are full of praise for one of the soap’s up-and-coming young child stars although they’ve joked he can be a little ‘naughty’ on set.

In recent weeks, youngster Huey Quinn, 11, who plays Kyle Winchester, has received more screen time. This is because, as Emmerdale fans know, Kyle is responsible for the death of Al Chapman.

Although, this little secret has yet to be revealed to the villagers with Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, currently in prison accused of killing the character - played by Michael Wildman.

Co-stars Natalie J Robb and Natalie Ann Jamieson, who play Moira Dingle and Amy Wyatt respectively, have been discussing schoolboy Huey’s flourishing career. Speaking at a press event, Natalie Ann Jamieson said: “He’s just been amazing. When he first got the storyline, he was given some tuition to help ease him into the storyline.

“This is to help move from what the children usually do, popping in and out, to having something big which is demanding a lot. He just eased into it so well and now he tells us what to do.”

Natalie J Robb joked: “He always knows our lines as well which is really annoying.”

Both Natalies are so proud to see how Huey is developing and learning new skills in front of the camera and behind. Natalie J Robb explained: “Because he’s grown up a bit now and does genuinely have a love for it (acting) he watches behind the shot and in the camera’s lens.

"You will often hear him go ‘that’s a really good shot’. He’s getting an eye for it which is really lovely to see.”

Natalie Ann Jamieson added: “He knows where the cameras are so he knows if he needs to be serious or a bit naughty.”

It would appear the child star has also got another talent, away from trying to distract his co-stars, which is blossoming. Natalie Ann Jamieson explained: “As Hughie watches the show and he’s getting a bit older he has an impression of pretty much all of us. When he’s old enough to meet you guys (the journalists) ask him to do his impressions of the other cast members.”
