ITV Emmerdale star Ned Porteous stuns fans with new look three years after soap exit

We all remember the brutal death of Ned Porteous' Emmerdale character Joseph Tate when Cain Dingle punched him and he hit his head on a rock.

Ned, who briefly starred in EastEnders as Mark Fowler in 2016, left the soap in 2019. Soap fans had the shock of their lives when they saw the hunky actor take on the role of handsome Lord Wetherby in the steamy period drama Bridgerton.

And not only has he gone onto more acting roles since Emmerdale, but he also looks unrecognisable in a snap he shared with fans while on holiday. The actor, known for his gym-honed physique was seen boasting a new busy beard.

He has previously shared racy snaps of him wearing just a towel and showing off his toned abs. On Jubilee Saturday (June 4), Ned showcased his new look on Instagram on Saturday, along with love-up snaps with girlfriend Sophia Lo.

Ned boasted a busy beard while he posed with his girlfriend next to Golden Gate Bridge recently (@nedporteous/Instagram)

The pair are currently travelling around America, and Ned has been sharing his trip with fans. The 27-year-old posed next the San Francisco bridge, and also went wine tasting in Napa Valley.

Fans expressed their admiration for Ned's beard on his Instagram post.

One said: "Loving the beard, Ned." Another wrote: "Boys got beardy." A third added: "You’re so hawt."
