ITV Emmerdale star Max Parker confirms huge Hollywood role less than a year after leaving soap

Former soap star Max Parker has confirmed rumours he is joining the cast of a hit American TV show.

The ex-Emmerdale actor who left the show in 2021 after two years playing the role of Luke Posner has quiet on the acting front since his departure. However, late last year, rumours swirled that he was due to join the US television show Vampire Academy.

The show airs on a new streaming service called Peacock and a source said in 2021 his role is being kept "hush hush". However, in a post on July 1, ThriveTalentUk, which represents Max posted a short video clip confirming his appearance on the US show which is being released on September 15.

The series will show over on @peacocktv @nbc." Max then shared the short clip onto his own Instagram story.

Max quit the soap in hopes of making it big in Hollywood, with a source saying he is an "ambitious and talented guy". He is currently dating fellow soap star Kris Mochrie, with the pair announcing their engagement earlier this year.
