ITV Emmerdale's response after fans cringe over 'x-rated' scenes

Emmerdale fans were cringing after tonight's episode featured a number of steamy scenes.

But the soap had their own hilarious response as they spoke out about the drama.

Viewers saw Moira and Nate return to the haystacks after Cain went back on his promise.

Despite Moira telling Nate, he can't just click his fingers and use her as a puppet, she cheated on Cain for the second time.

But it wasn't just Moira who was at it, Kim and Graham were also enjoying a little romance at Home Farm.

Kim, getting bored of discussing business deals went for Graham's tie, despite having only just settled their differences.

But fans were quick to pick up on all the romance in tonight's episode, with many tweeting the show.

Craig said: "Another roll in the hay ffs."

Steve tweeted: "LOL back in the hay."

Shaheen said: "How romantic NOT."

Suzanne tweeted: "A rumble in the haystacks, such a cliche."

Other viewers suggested there must be something in the water or in their Yorkshire tea.

Dixie said: "Somethings in the water in #emmerdale .. everyones snogging."

Georgia said: "This programme is turning into an X Rated mini series!"

And Pamela said: "Good grief! The water board need to test the water in Emmerdale..."

However, it seems like Emmerdale were reading viewers responses as they spoke out on their official Twitter account.

Posting a picture of Graham and Kim kissing, they said: "With the Woolpack closed, there must be something in the water.."
