A shocking new trailer for Emmerdale has been released hinting that Maya Stepney will be savagely attacked for grooming teenager Jacob Gallagher.
Over the past few weeks, Maya has increased her abuse of 16-year-old Jacob, completely under the nose of the teenager's dad (also Maya's boyfriend) David and other Emmerdale residents.
In March, Maya's abuse of Jacob took another disturbing turn as they had sex at a hotel for his birthday.
Viewers have called the harrowing storyline 'sickening', with many asking ITV to end the plot once and for all.
In the latest promo video for the Dales soap, several characters head out for a night on the town that changes their lives forever.
Maya is one of the characters who can be seen staring into a mirror as her bloodied and bruised reflection stares aback at her.

Later in the video, Jacob's biological mum Leyla Harding smashes her fist against her own mirror reflection in a fit of anger.
A voice-over then says: "One night will change everything".
Viewers have speculated this could mean Leyla is the one who brutally attacks Maya as a form of revenge.
One said: "I can’t wait for Leyla and Becky to give Maya what she deserves!"
Another wrote: "Basically Leyla ia going to find out about Maya and attack her."
Elsewhere in the trailer, Victoria Barton can be seen looking at a reflection of herself shaking as she applies lipstick.
