Emmerdale fans were thrilled tonight after Nicola finally told Jessie what everyone on social media had been thinking.
Head teacher Jessie was suspended over Maya's grooming of Jacob under her watch last week.
Jessie was understandably upset at the decision but people on social media were quick to point out she was never at school in the first place.
Last week twitter was awash with people pointing out the fact that the headmistress was often in the cafe or the pub - in fact anywhere but on the school premisis.
But despite fans spotting the blunder, characters in the soap failed to mention it.
Until tonight, when Nicola finally said what everyone else was thinking.
Nicola said: "Well you were never there anyway, it's true, you were always in here chasing after Marlon or your boys.
"It happened under your watch Jessie."
And viewers were thrilled their voice had finally been heard.
Carol said: "YAYYYYYYY Folks I think Jessie finally got the twitter messages....!!! NOT before time too."
Chloe Jackson said: "Looks like Nicola’s been reading all the tweets about Jessie we’ve sent over the past few months."
And Matthew Chapman said: "Seems Nicola has heard enough and started reading all of our twitter comments to Jessie!"
