ITV Emmerdale fans spot obvious 'blunder' with lockdown episode

Emmerdale fans claimed to have spot a blunder with tonight's lockdown episode.

Taking centre-stage tonight was Marlon, Ellis and Al as they attempted to adjust to life in isolation.

Marlon's issues started on day one as his house suffered major plumbing damage, forcing him to stay at Charity's.

Lockdown also meant Marlon couldn't see his kids April and Leo - something he struggled with.

Ellis and Al also found lockdown life difficult as they were forced to spend time with one another.

But a number of eagle-eyed fans spotted what they said was a blunder by producers.

During the episode, the screen would fade to black and the day would appear.

On day one and day 21; Marlon, Ellis and Al all took part in NHS clap for carers.

However, viewers spotted that both day one and day 21 of lockdown were actually Mondays - not Thursdays when clap for carers was held.

Stewart tweeted: "There was no NHS clap on Day 1 of lockdown it was a Monday!"

Another user replied: "Well spotted."

And Jason said: "Day 21 was Monday! Clapping was on Thursdays!!"
