Rhona and Marlon hoped to progress with their relationship and planned a night in together. In other scenes, William and Dawn planned Lucas' birthday. When Kim and Will looked as though they were bonding, Harriet was jealous.

Later, Gabby was delighted by Kim's suggestion of business training.

But it was Chas' revelation to Debbie that Al is engaged which got viewers talking.

Priya was in the pub planning her wedding to the village lothario when Ellis walked in and started chatting to her. Priya forced him to leave as she didn't want him peeking at the plans.

Debbie, listening to the exchange while sat at the bar, mistakenly assumed Ellis was the groom.

Chas set her straight and told her Al was marrying Priya. Debbie was stunned and unable to speak for a few moments.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
